We enjoyed the recent Time Out Melbourne Food Awards and now the nominees for the 2016 Time Out Melbourne Bar Awards have been announced.
With eleven categories running for the fourth year of the awards, winners will be revealed in a ceremony on Monday 7 December at The Mill House in Flinders Lane.
The awards are an exciting night for both the industry and the public, with Time Out Australia CEO Michael Rodrigues commenting,
“Each year the Time Out team secretly visit Melbourne’s bars, give them a fresh review and nominate the best for our Awards.
“The Awards are our way of saying thanks to the people and venues that keep Melbourne’s night-time culture vibrant.”
The big award for the evening is the coveted Bar of the Year, while the People’s Choice Award allows readers and drinkers to vote for their favourite.
Last year saw winners such as the Everleigh, Le Bon Ton, Black Pearl, Bar Americano and Harry & Frankie. Tickets to the awards night are available to the public. Attendees will be treated to White Rabbit beers, Maker’s Mark bourbon whisky, snacks, and hangover cures from Hydrodol.
