The people behind So Frenchy So Chic are experts at curation, having successfully assembled several years of an annual French picnic.
For So Frenchy In The Park 2017, that curated expertise means picnic goers will be spoiled for choice with award-winning restaurants, longstanding favourites and independent producers offering something special to share. What they all share is a passion for what they do – and superb food.
In Melbourne, Hotel Gitan will be serving prawn and buffalo mozzarella croquettes, croques monsieurs and a signature chicken salad. In Sydney, the delicious offering from Bistrot Gavroche includes a hearty brioche with pan roasted strip loin and mushrooms with a béarnaise sauce.
Elevating the standard of the common festival food van fair, the day will also feature a smorgasbord of oysters, mussels, raclette, charcuterie, salads, foie gras baguettes, calamari, frîtes, Haute Dogs by Maille, crepes and ice creams. New and exclusive eats this year include So Frenchy So Chic Macarons (a collaboration with Cacao) and So Frenchy boxes of Pana raw chocolate.
With French flavours, Australian produce and a world of choice, So Frenchy So Chic In The Park aims to once again throw the best picnic you’ll experience this summer. Bon appetit, mes amis.
