The 15th Good Food and Wine show was held in Melbourne on the Queens Birthday weekend and wasn’t it an event of spectacular proportions!
There was plenty to see, do, eat and drink for those who went empty-stomached, with hundreds of local and exhibitors.
There were plenty of iconic chefs in attendance, sharing their expertise with foodies at the Good Food Theatre, where they cooked their restaurant quality dishes for all to observe,
And for everyone that is partial to a drink or two, the Cellar Door allowed wine buffs to take a class in wine appreciation and of course sample a vintage or five!
If the tasters and samples scattered around the exhibition centre were not enough to soak up all that booze, you could grab a bite to eat from a wide variety of food trucks in the Grazing Garden.
All in all, if you’re a foodie (or just someone who likes good value for money, because for the ticket price you could stay there all day sampling food and alcohol!) you should definitely think about attending next year.
